At King Avenue we realize that not everyone seeks the same worship experience, so we offer two distinct worship services. Both services are grounded in the church's mission to honor, nurture and welcome all people. At both services, you will hear the written words of the Old and New Testament, experience moments of witness from those in our church family, participate in communion the first Sunday of each month and participate in honoring all of God's children, young and old.

 

 

Our 9 a.m. informal worship service that is held in the Fellowship Hall. A trademark of the service is the coffee and pastries served prior to worship and enjoyed throughout the service. Another trademark of the service is the musical talents of the Blenders, the service's singing group, whom are accompanied by a keyboardist, a guitarist and a drummer. At Morning Blend, one is given the nutrients needed to follow Christ and strengthen their relationship with God but in a casual setting.

 

 

Our 11 o'clock worship is service held in the sanctuary. If you appreciate the grandness of a pipe organ, the grace of a grand piano and the united voices of a full chancel choir, then the 11 o'clock service is for you. The service holds true to a traditional worship experience but is grounded in a 21st century mission of growth.
